Happy New Year: Reflecting on 2024
As we step into a brand-new year, I can’t help but look back on 2024 with a mix of gratitude, nostalgia, and joy. It’s been a year full of change, growth, and unforgettable moments—a year that took me from the stunning vistas of Wyoming to the comforting embrace of home in Florida.
I began 2024 in Wyoming, a state that left me completely in awe. The landscapes were unlike anything I’ve ever experienced—majestic mountains, vast open spaces, and a serenity that seemed to reach into my soul. But what truly made Wyoming special were the people I met along the way. They were warm, welcoming, and genuine, and some have now become lifelong friends. Wyoming will always hold a special place in my heart, not just for its beauty but for the connections and memories it gave me.
When I returned to Florida, I spent a few months in Fort Lauderdale. It was a nice change of pace, with its vibrant energy and coastal charm.
As I reflect on the past year, I’m filled with gratitude for the experience and being able to settle back into the Florida lifestyle. But even with all its appeal, I found myself yearning for something deeper—the comfort and familiarity of home.
The highlight of my year was finally returning to Tampa. Reuniting with my family, my fur babies, and my closest friends was the perfect way to end 2024. There’s something about being surrounded by those who know you best and love you unconditionally that makes everything feel right again. Home isn’t just a place; it’s the people, the shared moments, and the sense of belonging.
Now, as we welcome 2025, I’m excited for what’s to come. This year, I hope to continue cherishing the connections I’ve made, embracing new opportunities, and creating moments of joy and peace. Here’s to another year of adventures, love, and living fully.
Thank you, 2024, for all you’ve been. And to everyone reading this, may your 2025 be filled with happiness, health, and everything your heart desires. Happy New Year!
